Hendrix lives
ROCK 'n' roll tennis champ John McEnroe has decided to cut his first single. McEnroe, who plays with his band at celebrity bashes whenever he can, is going to record a cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic, "Crosstown Traffic," reports CNBC's sports gossip Annie Hoffman. The cut will be produced by Tom Johnson, who is also producer of the hot indie band Porno for Pyros. Always the businessman, McEnroe has enlisted Fender Guitar Company to handle the marketing.
