Hollywood Hoffman
Annie Hoffman has been reporting on the crossover of sports and entertainment since her column "Name Dropping with the Sports and Entertainment World" debuted on CBSSportsline.com in 1996. Hoffman was the first reporter to exclusively cover the crossover of sports and entertainment. She loves talking to athletes about entertainment and to entertainers about their involvement with sports. In addition to her CBSSportsline.com column, Hoffman has penned columns about the sports and entertainment worlds for ESPN.com's Page Two and ABCSports.com.
Hoffman has also delivered sports and entertainment reports on Fox News Channel's Fox and Friends, as well as various shows on Court TV, MSNBC, PAX-TV, National Enquirer TV, CBS SportsLine radio, ESPN Radio, Prime Sports Radio, One on One Sports Radio Network, Talk America, and over fifty other radio stations in the United States and Canada.
Reaching back to her original "Hollywood" days as a high school actress, Hoffman has acted on CBS-TV's long-running soap opera, Guiding Light. Along with her daughter, Ashley, she has also appeared in a Johnson & Johnson corporate video. Hoffman played the role of "Stage Manager" and also served as an off-camera consultant on the Turner Network Television (TNT) film Monday Night Mayhem, depicting the launch and impact of the legendary Monday Night Football.
