The man who does Rodman's 'do'

David Chapa was just a nice hairdresser in San Antonio, Texas, when his girlfriend introduced him to Dennis Rodman. Dennis was playing for the San Antonio Spurs at the time.

The Worm had just gone blonde for the first time when they decided to collaborate on some hair designs, colors, etc. David told me that Dennis loves to do message hair designs i.e. Aids Ribbon, Gay and Lesbian Symbols.

DAVID'S FAVORITE HAIR DESIGN that he did for Dennis was the Aids Symbol.

And for all of his dynamic 'dos, Rodman put the stops to one design. David wanted to paint mercury wings on the side of Rodman's head and paint a basketball in between the wings during last year's playoffs.

According to David, he told Dennis that he didn't think that he and Madonna would last for more than two days because they both need too much attention. Well, David said the dynamic duo only lasted a week.

David says Dennis is a doll despite arriving about three hours late for his hair appointments. Dennis just went to see David a few weeks ago. After painting Dennis' hair a pretty fuschia color, he joined Dennis and RuPaul (the infamous Drag Queen) for a night of partying at their new club in Dallas.

Said David: "The funny thing is that parents use me as a tool to motivate children to get good grades in school."

Parents tell their kids that if they get good grades in school they will be allowed to have their hair done by David and have hair like Dennis for the summer.

A Little of This and A Little of That

Rosanne, Harrison Ford, Christian Slater, Cindy Crawford, William Shatner, Linda Evangelista, Teri Hatcher, Wesley Snipes, Steven Segal and Dennis Hopper were just some of the celebs who showed up for the Tyson-Holyfield fight.

Slater was so upset that Tyson lost that some people had to ask him to settle down and stop using those bad words that your mother warned you not to use ...

If you thought you saw Victoria Secret model Frederique van Der Wal at a hockey game, well you weren't dreaming (unless it was a really boring hockey game.)

Reebok will honor Los Angeles Lakers superstar Shaquille O'Neal by having the world's biggest sports mural painted on the side of a building on Wilshire Boulevard.

Shaq will stand just over 300 feet tall on this 25,000 square foot mural of him palming a basketball in his Laker uniform, surrounded by adoring fans. It will be interesting to see if this causes as many traffic jams as the billboard of Dennis Rodman did in Chicago....

Rumor has it that the newly crowned WBA heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield will appear on this week's "Saturday Night Live"...
