In "Firestorm," Howie plays a fearless firefighter who is dedicated to carrying on the family tradition of "smoke jumping." When he parachutes into the middle of a forest inferno, he inadvertently exposes a gang of escaped convicts, disguised as firefighters. Watch out, Arnold, Sly and Jean-Claude!

Not only was Fox impressed, but so was Disney. Following "Firestorm," Howie will begin shooting Disney's "Black Cross," based on the Dark Horse comic books. He will play a futuristic bounty hunter in the film. Long said that even though he is experiencing some Hollywood success, he is not giving up his day job.
